The International College of Biomechanics was established to provide quality practical training in biomechanical assessment procedures and to expand the biomechanical knowledge of practitioners so that the application of this knowledge would enhance treatment results in patients.
The college conducts “weekend intensive” training throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific Region. The courses attract continuing education accreditation through various practitioner associations such as:
Australia: New Zealand:
APA: 1 point per hour NZ College of Physiotherapy:
AOA: Cat 1B: 16 points Cat 1.6: 5 points per 7 hours (prorata)
CAA: Cat A: 2.5 points
Cat B: 6.75 points
Cat C: 3.75 points Hong Kong:
COCA: Cat 1: 8.5 points HKPA: 5 CPD points per day
Cat 2: 2.5 points
APODC: Submit log hours (AUS & NZ)
